Mark Gannon reports from Courtmacsherry, Co. Cork:
The fishing this last week from Courtmacsherry, even with the very changeable weather, has been good with both boat and shore anglers producing some lovely fish, including several specimen size skate, blue shark, ling and conger.
The self drives have had good success with bass, thornback ray, pollack and dabs; spinning from the coves has seen several bass over 65cms landed. Gilthead bream also made an appearance at Burren Pier.
