Super fishing today on board Caitlín Marie with 15 different species of fish on board while fishing from Kincasslagh. Species included Sand Eel, Mackerel, Pollock, Coalie, Cod, Ling, Whiting, Haddock, Bluemouth, Grey and Red Gurnard, Ballan and Cuckoo Wrasse, Poor Cod and Pouting.
After announcing a 2nd helping of homemade cup cakes for most species, heaviest fish and first Bluemouth, the competition became fierce. 2 anglers finished the day with an impressive 11 species as the race continues to see who will capture the Saoire Mara Charters Species Trophy for 2019.
