NCFFI members country wide are respecting their responsibility to discourage social contact and have suspended club activities for March and April as advised by the NCFFI Committee.

Many of these clubs in association with local partners deliver Irish Angling Festivals attended by many overseas visitors. Whilst they are not able to guarantee the full Irish angling experience some members have taken the early decision to cancel their events conscious of the advance needs of the travelling angler.

Events currently cancelled are;

  • O’Callaghan’s Feeder Open, Inniscarra 18 April
  • NCFFI Senior Canals Championship 18/19 April
  • O’Callaghan’s Feeder Festival, Inniscarra 19-21 April
  • Curley’s Portumna Festival, 20-24 April
  • Dave Bacon Feeder Festival, Inniscarra 22-24 April
  • Inniscarra Pairs Warm-Up 26 April
  • Inniscarra Feeder Pairs 27 April – 01 May*
  • Fermoy Spring Festival, 18-22 May

Many rural communities rely on angling tourism and we are conscious of the impact this may have on local businesses and these advance decisions have not been taken lightly.

Some of these events may take place at a later date and we shall keep you informed.

In the meantime you can visit the full match calendar at www.ncffi.ie/competition but please do keep in touch with the match organisers.
