Shane Buckley sent us in these photos of a magnificent bass he caught yesterday in the capital.
Fishing a Co. Dublin mark, his bait of choice was a peeler crab, fished on a pulley pennell rig. A good choice for big baits. Big baits catch big fish, but even Shane was probably stunned by the magnificent bass he caught, measuring 70cm.
The fish was measured and a quick photo taken before being sportingly released again. Fair play Shane, and what a great catch!
