Luke Aston, skipper of the Clare Dragoon, reports that fishing has been good for mixed species of late, despite the prevalence of easterly winds. Although fishing has slowed somewhat, his guests enjoyed good fishing both at anchor and on the drift for a range of species. Shark were a notable absentee this week, making a no-show on the one day they targeted them on the drift.
