Recently, members of Killybegs Mariners SAC enjoyed some good fishing from the local shore marks as water temperatures are still quite high for the time of year. Species caught included thornback ray, dab, poor cod, dogfish and some nice flounders.

Elsewhere, an hour over high water on the local harbour marks produced a few nice fish on the lures. Creature lures and shads just fished in close under the white water found plenty of wrasse mostly small with a few hard fighting fish over the 40cm to 44cm mark giving a right scrap on the lure rod.
