Glenmore on the River Finn are delighted to get some proper wet weather and to finally have some of the European guests back that missed out on their trips the last couple of years!
Fishing has been steady since the bit of fresh came into the system this week and good few fish have gone over the falls so upstream sections will come into play for anglers.
Visiting angler Jon Kenyon has caught three fish on his trip, losing three more. This one was a clinker of a cock fish from the corner pool in the dirty water on the rise.
Gaston Graas, from Luxembourg, also managed to hook a fish or two, this one from Leonard’s. The river, which is catch and release, is in great order at the time of writing.
