Pike angling guide Kevin Lyons reports on some recent pike angling by his guests at Melview Lodge…
French anglers Stephane, Nicolas, Manu and Julien had an excellent fishing trip bring to the boat 224 Pike and we won’t talk about the ones that got away. They cast both hard and soft lures catching Pike to fish 107cm and losing a few bigger fish. The guys are no strangers to Melview Fishing Lodge but had to put previous trips on hold due to the covid situation and travel restrictions. But it was worth the wait.
These guys are so keen, they were out fishing for a couple of hours minutes after arriving. The weather conditions were a bit up and down for the their stay but they just got on with the fishing.
Well done guys and great to see you back here once again, and thank you for a great week of laughing and joking and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
