Beaches around Killybegs fished well during the week. Killybegs Mariners member, Cara Boyle, caught a fine flounder measuring 44cm just shy of the 45cm specimen mark but setting a new club record. This is a great time of year now on the beaches as the big fish fatten before winter.
The 4th leg of the Mariners winter league will go ahead this Friday 21st October from 19.30pm – 23.30pm on Rossnowlagh Beach.
