Frank Maunsell from the Owenmore Fishery reports on the latest from the Kerry gem:
The weather has been reasonably kind to us over the last week. We had 10 grisle and over 20 seatrout caught in the river. We have had a few seatrout on the lake the one day we were able to get out because of strong winds. We had a good flood last night and this morning so the river might fish on Sunday but definitely from Monday onwards. There are heavy showers forecast for the rest of the week and that will keep the river in good order.
