Despite the current doom and gloom, the one thing you can’t fault salmon anglers for –and especially younger salmon anglers – is their enthusiasm for the sport.
Johnny Casey and Yamil Turcuman were two recent guests on Ireland on the Fly whose love of salmon was infectious and likewise, this week’s guest, Cian O’Boyle, who fishes on the Moy and Owenmore regularly throughout the season and is no stranger to landing salmon judging by his videos on social media, joins Tom and Daire on this week’s show.
Cian tells them about his fishing exploits as well as some of his tips for consistent catches, plus he has some thoughts on getting young people into the sport as well.
