Another new club record this week for the Killybegs Mariners, as club member Chris Whyte landed a coley of 42cm from the shore. This will be the last entry on to their record fish list for 2023 as club record holders will be awarded their stickers following the closed club match at Narin this coming Sunday.
Fishing was good on the day, with turbot, flounders and sea trout – not to mention the 42cm coley – all taking the bait for Chris, Cormac and Proinnsias.
