Members of Killybegs Marines SAC were active as ever reporting a few new club records and good boat fishing from Donegal Bay. Read their report below…
There was great shore fishing to be had but some Mariners also enjoyed nice boat fishing catching a total of 12 species. Before that, four Mariners were out with Killybegs Fishing Trips on the Poppy J getting 14 species to the boat.
This resulted in a few new record entries this week. Well done to Cormac with a 98cm shore huss and a 35cm boat plaice and to Stefan with a 15cm brill, a 73cm pollack, a 56cm spotted ray and a 35cm scad. Nice to see more yellow boxes filled on the chart!
