River Moy Angling Report 23rd – 30th September 2024

The season came to a close on Monday 30th September with good sport reported on some fisheries with 341 salmon reported caught for the final week.  A lot of fish were reported released in the final week which is encouraging. Water levels remained relatively low for the final week apart from a very small rise seen at Ballylahan which rose marginally midweek to 0.61 m before dropping off again to 0.36 m on Monday evening 30th. Weather wise the past seven days sees rainfall totals in the northwest below average with Claremorris, County Mayo recording just 9.3 mm.
