David McEvoy reports from Delphi on fishing during March, which proved about as frustrating as everywhere else…

March was disappointing given the conditions excellent water throughout. 5 fish were landed for the month. Seamus O’Neill having the first of approximately 9lbs from the Rock Pool on a Black Shrimp on the 14th.

There were 4 then in the last week with Bernhardt, Werner and Benni all having fish off Finlough and Hasse having a lovely fish of approximately 12lbs off Deadman’s on a Norwegian favorite the Breakfast Fly. That brought our total for March to 5. Water levels had dropped at beginning of April but Mark Corps managed to land a fish of approximately 17lbs off Finlough on a Cascade. Water levels are up as of this morning and we’re bracing ourselves for Storm Kathleen.
