Jim Nowotynskie of Irish Deep Sea Charters made the most of the nice conditions and small tides on Sunday to get to an offshore wreck in search of ling.
The water temperature had come up nicely in the past week and over the morning was they had their first real hit of mackerel. So with plenty fresh bait they had a good day over the wreck and the ling weren’t long coming aboard.
Irish Deep Sea Charters have also been getting some good results on the reefs. they had a great day recently with Ardmore angling club where the catch included some fine fish including a specimen wrasse and some tired arms in the evening.
