Skipper Sean Maguire had a friend over visiting from Holland last week, and they took advantage of the settled weather to get out fishing. It was a lovely calm autumn day, and sea conditions were perfect. Fishing was good early in the morning on the ebb tide, but slowed a little as the sun rose on the flood tide. They got plenty of fish regardless, with pollack coming aboard three at a time at one stage! It just shows if you get suitable conditions, fishing can be great late in the year.
