Water levels are low on the Laune but there are a few salmon in the system that are willing to take. For the week ending 04 May there were 2 salmon landed on Beat 3 of the River Laune weighing 7lbs and 14lbs. Both were caught spinning. There was also 1 salmon caught from Johnsons Fishery, River Laune, weighing 8lbs, again on a spinner.
