Judd Ruane reports of a good head of sea trout in the estuary. However no two days are the same due to current fresh and blustery conditions, but the fishing can be good on a relatively calm day. Edward Boyd and friends had a good catch last Friday. Richard Haire and friends had fish up to 45 cm and another angler from Kildare with friends had 16 sea trout for their visit. Bernard Pelle visiting from France had a good day out landing 12 sea trout. Overall, most fish were returned with some of the local boats landing some good fish also.
