The 4th Leg of the Cobh SAC Light Lines Competition was fished on February 9th, with 33 anglers competing from 4 boats in very poor weather conditions. Conditions were bitterly cold in what was a very strong easterly wind.
Nonetheless the 33 anglers braved the elements and did well enough all things considered.
The boat winners on the day were as follows Dan Lynch, Stephen Hurley, Jamie Murphy and Junior Angler Evan Collins who fished exceptionally well with 62 fish to his credit.
Overall winner was Dan Lynch with 71 fish and 1014 points, with Stephen Hurley finishing 2nd and junior angler Evan collins taking 3rd.
The species recorded were mostly comprised of Dab, Whiting and Poor Cod.
