Cork Sea Angler, Kevin McGowan, reports on the weekend’s competition fished at Fermoyle…
Brilliant competition on Saturday on Fermoyle beach, Kerry. Twelve angler’s turned out to a good friendly day’s fishing. Between them they caught 13 flounder. The biggest came from Eoghan with a nice 39cm flounder. There were 25 bass landed with the biggest going to Donal Domeney.
Overall winner was Donal Domeney with 8 bass and 4 flounder, 2nd was Martin Mc Gowan from the Angling Hub Ireland with 6 bass and 2 flounder and third was Brendan Mack with 5 bass and 3 flounder
It was a brilliant day out with a few pints after, and bring on the next competition.
