Anglers on the Clare Dragoon have enjoyed some fine sport lately, with a mix of shark fishing and reef fishing providing excellent results.
Skipper Luke Aston says reef fishing has produced a lot of [pollack and coalfish, with plenty of spurdog as well. Some fine ling were also coming aboard.
Shark fishing has also been very good, with up to 7 blue sharks on one day, giving plenty of reel-stripping entertainment.
