The third qualifier of the CM Lakelands Open Feeder Cup was fished on Lough Muckno at the weekend, where fishing was good on Yellow Island, but disappointing for the anglers drawn on the Middle Concra section.

Lough Muckno expert Rory O’Neil had a very good day on Yellow Island Section 1, catching 130 fish short to weigh over 12kg of mostly roach on peg 197 to win Lough Muckno outright and qualify for the final.

Steven Whyte won the other Section on Yellow Island on peg 216. Steven had two decent bream plus other skimmers, hybrids and roach to weigh just over 8kg.

Robertas Zilaitis qualified from Concra Middle on his first attempt at the qualifiers. Robertas caught 20 fish, mostly at distance, to weigh just over 3kg on peg 56.
