Great turn out on Sunday for the first round of the Oaklands Summer League.
With a packed lake and cold breeze fishing was difficult in places. But there were still some heavy weight recorded. Coming out on top bagging 71.770 kg was John Browne on peg 37. Junior winner was Michael Nemeth netting 8.360kg.

Athy anglers held the first leg of the Summer League which is sponsored by Murphs Fishing Tackle weather was fine and there were some nice bags of fish.
