James Raymond from Irish Angling Adventures is certainly doing his part to promote sea angling participation this year. Between holding down a job, guiding and organising sea angler community meet ups he’s been a busy man. But that’s not all. James has also organised a specimen hunt for the year, in which anglers from around the country are taking part and posting their specimen fish catches of various species. And James is back with an update on how the hunt is going…
Well since the last update there has been plenty of action in this years Specimen Hunt, proudly sponsored by Fishing Tackle Ireland, Shannonside Baits , IFI and Glenmar Shellfish.
With the good weather starting to shine we are seeing some fine catches of Mullet, recently shad and we are also starting to see a few ray and Giltheads make there way into the mix now, as well as a nice Red Mullet.
