Cobh Sea Angling Club
Where everyone is welcome and every cast is an adventure

Cobh Sea Angling Club is always delighted to welcome new members, and whether you’ve never held a fishing rod before or have years of experience behind you, there’s a place for you in our club.

We’re a friendly, social club that enjoys getting out on the shoreline, having a laugh, and sharing our passion for fishing. While we’re proud to have members who have represented Ireland at the highest level, including World Championships, we’re just as proud of helping complete beginners catch their first fish.

At Cobh Sea Angling Club, fishing is about enjoyment first and foremost. The friendships, the fresh air, the excitement of a bite, and the stories shared afterwards are what make our club special.

  • Complete beginners are always welcome
  • Learn from experienced anglers in a relaxed environment
  • Meet like-minded people and make new friends
  • Fish for fun, competition, or a bit of both
  • Suitable for all ages and experience levels

Don’t worry if you’ve never fished before—we all started somewhere, and our members are always happy to help newcomers get started.

So if you’re looking for a new hobby, want to spend more time outdoors, or simply fancy trying something different, we’d love to have you join us.
