Peter Roche was in contact to say a friend of his was out on Cullin on Wednesday 17th and caught 10 trout, 3 of which were to measure. Peter and his friend fished Thursday 18th on Lough Cullin, they had 5 trout between them with 1 of these to measure. Successful flies included sooty dabbler and fiery brown dabbler. Duckfly, olives and some mayfly were observed hatching. On Saturday 20th Peter fished Lough Conn in bright calm conditions and had 2 trout on wetfly and olive emerger.
