After three days of fishing, less than 1kg separates the top two in the Lough Muckno July Festival in Monaghan. Craig Ellis and Charlie Vallender are both within touching distance of the 40kg mark after the third day, with 39.4kg and 38.4kg respectively, while Kevin Johnson sits in third place, another 5kg back.
Conditions have been fairly benign for the 22 competing anglers, the only issue making fishing tricky being hungry pike at some of the pegs. We’ll bring you the final results after the final day’s fishing on Friday.
