Moy Catchment Angling Report for week ending 27-04-2025, compiled by Michael Murphy:
Water levels in the River Moy fluctuated greatly during the month of April with lows of 0.23m recorded at Ballylahan on the 13th and then rising dramatically to 1.73m on the 26th April. These should drop to much more manageable levels with very settled weather this week in contrast to the previous seven days which were much wetter than normal. Angling pressure is still quite low in the catchment as a result of these conditions, but is expected to increase with the improvement in weather and water levels.
