Before the weather broke, anglers on the Clare Dragoon skippered by Luke Aston enjoyed some great reef and mixed fishing along the Clare coast including some fine ling best of over 1m, spurdog and plenty pollack in the 3 to 4 lb range.
However, lately things changed somewhat and as a consequence fishing concentrated in the more sheltered waters of the Shannon Estuary. Due to big swells fishing became more difficult. However, a few fine rays and tope could still be caught.
