Richard Mooney was in touch to tell us about a great 4 hours he enjoyed fishing on Lough Fada in Co. Kerry yesterday, June 9th. Between himself, his son Parker and nephew Scott, they had 13 fish in total, all wild brown trout that punched well above their weight in terms of fighting.

They did not see any rainbows, but the browns were taking aggressively at the mouth of the river, providing plenty of fun! 7 were caught by the boys on bronze mepps, and 6 were caught on buzzer and nymphs. The takes were very strong, particularly those fish that took the buzzer. All fish were put back for the next anglers to enjoy.
