Shamrock SAC Open Boat Competition scheduled for 11th July @ Howth

8

Shamrock SAC will hold an Open Boat competition out of Howth on 11th July, which will also serve as the 4th round of the Leinster League boat competition.

The competition is a nominated species competition, which means that every angler is given an ID card with their name on it, and when you catch one of the nominated species, you take a photo of the fish on a measuring mat along with your card showing the true length of the fish.

You could catch 10 of the same fish but all different sizes. We are looking for the LONGEST of each species to be entered onto your scorecard…At the end of the competition, you submit your scorecard to the recorder and show him your photos of the longest nominated fish so they can be verified and checked off.

There is a 1st and 2nd prize for each longest nominated fish.
Plus there is a big prize for the overall winner of the competition.
Plus many other prizes so nobody will go home without a prize…and of course we will run a raffle…

The presentation of prizes will be in the Asgard Room in Howth Yacht Club…
Directly after the competition is over.
