Paul and Danny from irishfishingtours.com are reporting some great winter pike fishing on Lough Derg over the last two weeks, as these French anglers will testify to.

Four pike over 100cm were caught with fish of 104cm, 106cm, 107cm and 110cm and a few around 90cms, mostly trolling a wide range of big lures, with calm cold days being the best.

Pierre Monjarret fishing with us had the biggest pike of 110 cms that slammed the rod around to almost breaking point in a short but intense battle before Pierre landed it and took a quick measurement and photo.
