Mike Murray at Portumna reports that this time of year it worth targeting Roach. Mike finds that the readily feed in the colder conditions. Earlier this week he had a 3 hour session and landed 9 fish all over 1lb, the best weighing in at 2lbs.
All the roach were taken on a single grain of corn or worm/sweetcorn cocktail.
