John Mc Laughlin from the Lough Swilly Angling Centre reports:
The first fish of the season on the Cloghan Lodge Salmon Fishery on the River Finn fell to Chris Gallagher from Lisburn.
Chris landed a very fresh fish of 8lbs from the Ivy Bridge beat on a flying C spinner on Friday, March 27th.
John Gilfillan had a fresh run fish of 7 lbs on the fly from the Glenmore Stream on Sunday, March 29th.

Ronan Mc Grianna from Co. Louth had a nice clean fish of 7 lbs on the fly from the Graveyard pool on Tuesday, March 31st.
Thursday, April 2nd was a red letter day for Jason Mc Conkey on the Ivy Bridge beat.
Jason landed two fine fish of 10 lbs and 15 lbs from the Graveyard and Carlins’ respectively.
Both fish fell to a green bodied willie gunn tube fly.
John Gilfillan landed has second fish of the season that day also, again from the Glenmore stream on the fly. The fish was estimated at 7 lbs.

Warren Campbell from Limavady opened his account with a beauty of 9 lbs from the Grilse Streams on Saturday, April 4th. The fish fell to a size 6 Eany Tailfire fly.
