19/04 Last Thursday I was out with my brother. It was great to see so many mackerel back in bay, and he crowned the day with a lovely 7.5lb pollack.
Yesterday there were lots of nice cod about and plenty of mackerel, pollack, ling, coalies, some pouting and a beautiful cuckoo wrasse with bright colours. Blue seemed to be the colour for cod.
This morning we had the pleasure of being attacked by thousands of mackerel! The fish were good enough in size though a bit skinny, which is normal for this time of year.
