Angling Guide
Tom O’Shea is a fourth generation ghillie on Lough Currane with over thirty years experience fishing the Waterville system.
The Fishing season here in Waterville, Co. Kerry, Ireland it is open from January 17th to October 12th.
Fishing from January to Mid May is for Spring salmon.
From Mid May to October it is mainly for Grilse and Sea trout.
River fishing can also be arranged during the Summer months.

Day fishing and Syndicate Membership , Licences and Rod Hire are all available.
Long associated with sustainable fishing for Atlantic Salmon and Brown Trout, the Fortwilliam fishery is well loved by local and international Syndicate Members as well as visiting Anglers. We have a good reputation for maintaining the river bank and beats throughout the year and have excellent ghille services and equipment hire.

Coarse fishing guide PAGI
Notes: Gabriel Cox offers guided coarse angling on and around the magnificent River Shannon. The River Shannon is well developed for angling and is famous for its Bream, Roach and specimen Pike. If you prefer still water fishing then Lough Aduff, Cartron, Lowfield and the Hillcrest lakes are just some of the waters where you will find lots of Bream, Rudd and Tench. There are a number of fishing tackle shops in the area but bait and tackle can be provided.

Notes: Jason has a lifetime of experience in fishing and guiding on the rivers, lakes and coastline in the area. Jason has given talks on fishing techniques at the leading angling shows in Ireland. He organises a variety of fishing courses during the year for beginners and improvers. Game Fishing Ireland offers guided packages for salmon, river trout, lake trout and saltwater game species. Fishing packages can vary in price depending on the target species and time of year. A typical package can include permits, travel, guiding, and packed lunch. Tackle hire is also available.

Notes: Garrett is a very experienced fly fisher for both trout and salmon and has been working as a professional guide in country sports for over 25 years.
He is a qualified and registered GAIA casting instructor. Casting lessons for individuals or groups are his speciality, either at his fishery or at a location of your choosing.

Permits arranged for fishing on East Mayo Angler’s water, Rinnany/Foxford and Attymas Anglers Association. Can organise fishing for other water on request. Glynn has fished the Moy for over 15 years. Comprehensive knowledge of salmon flies and patterns. Competent double handed caster, can demonstrate basics of single and double spey casts etc.

Greenore Railway/Maritime museum is located in the cellar in Greenore Co-operative Euston Street Greenore A91KR6K. Also Victorian style Tea Rooms are housed on the 1st Floor where you can enjoy Afternoon Tea while dressing in the finery of bygone days.
We also offer Breakfast Baps, Freshly made sandwiches and delicious cakes, as well as Ice Cream, Minerals and Confectionery.
We also stock fishing tackle and fishing rods and are an emergency stop for losing that hook when fishing on our sea front on Carlingford Lough.
