The New Ross & District SAC hosted a three day competition on the Hook Head peninsula in Wexford over the Bank Holiday weekend. Fishing marks such as Slade, Churchtown and the Hook itself, conditions were said to be tricky enough, but ‘manageable’.

Brendan Butler and James Ryan duked it out for the top prize over the three days, with James coming put on top in the end.
