With over 365 loughs and rivers, the lakeland offers many types of explorations like nowhere else in Ireland. Many loughs are secluded and will please the most adventurous fishermen. You also have the more comfortable option to fish from a boat on the bigger loughs.

Norbert Renaud of L’ile Verte Pike Fishing Lodge in Cavan has launched a new online shop, with a range of pike flies, lures, clothing and various other types of gear and accessories available. Norbert designs most of his stock himself, with most of it hand made, and he also hand paints the lures using colours and patterns that he has found most effective.
Fugly Lures is Norbert’s own tackle company. He handmakes swim bait, glide baits and more.
Premium pike flies are also on offer as well as other items.
