This little village is situated near the Co. Longford border and it is surrounded by a maze of lakes known collectively as Lough Gowna near the head waters of the River Erne. There are good stocks of Trout in these lakes as well excellent stocks of Coarse fish.

Dernaferst
Car park is located between north and south lakes. There are 30 pegs on the north side and 30 on the south shore. Bank fishing for Roach, Bream, Hybrids, Perch & Pike.
Dring

Rhododendron Shore
(Woodville) Limited road side parking with some swims for Bream, Roach, Hybrids, Perch & Pike.
Aghanoran Lake
Access by permission of landowner. Bank fishing for Bream, Roach, Hybrids, Perch & Pike.
Swan Lake
Adjacent to village with bank fishing for good Roach, Perch & Pike.
