KILLESHANDRA
A small industrious lakeside town situated 11 miles from Cavan town. The town is surrounded by many lakes drained by the Killygar river which flows into Lough Oughter. Anglers staying in the area often fish in other parts of Lough Oughter (see under Cavan).

Bawn Lake

Dereskit Lake
Bank fishing for Bream, Roach, Hybrids, Perch & good Pike. Limited off road car parking contact the Loughbawn Hotel in Killeshandra for access.
Glasshouse Lake
Access via private and forestry road with waterside car parking to a 30-peg match length. Bank fishing for Bream, Roach, Hybrids, Perch, Pike and some Tench.
