Season
Catch and Release only for the 2024 season.
- Salmon from 15th February to 30th September.
- Sea-Trout from 15th February to 12th October.
- It is prohibited to use any fish hooks, other than single or double barbless hooks
- It is prohibited to use worms as bait in angling for all species of fish
This lovely river drains a catchment of 56 square miles and is primarily a sea-trout river but gets the occasional salmon and grise during the angling season.
Sea trout
Fair to good runs of fish depending on water levels on this small to medium-sized river. All legitimate angling methods are allowed.
