“I took this mullet of 6 lb. 12 oz at small harbour on the Antrim coast the other day. It was taken on a Shakespeare Trion Fly rod, Trion reel and Trion line, 6 lb fluorocarbon and a home tied fly creation. It fought extremely well on fly gear before succumbing to the landing net. I hooked and lost its mate of similar proportions before a couple of guys launched a boat and unfortunately spooked the shoal.”
