Despite the recent heavy rain and generally unfavourable fishing conditions, Shaun Hegarty reports that Curragh Springs Fishery has been delivering the goods for visitors. Despite the time of year, fish are still rising freely to dry fly and can also be taken on nymphs and wet flies. Regular visitor, Malcolm Fitzell had a number of nice fish to dry fly on Thursday last 3rd November. Also visiting the fishery was Warren McClelland from Carlow who also netted a few nice Curragh Springs rainbows. David Byrne also had a few nice fish to both dry fly and nymph.
