The Drowes gets some grilse but quiet overall

Monday 27^th August to Sunday 2^nd September 2012

There were a few rods out on the fishery this week but overall things were fairly quiet on the Drowes. There are still some fresh grilse entering the system however. On Monday, Alan Kendall recorded a 4½lb grilse on prawn from the Sea Pools. On Saturday, Paul Foley logged a 4½lb grilse caught on worm from Briney’s. On Sunday, Paul McCausland recorded 3 grilse caught from the Upper Mill. The fish weighed 3, 3 & 4lb and were caught on spinner & fly with two of these released again.
