The Iveagh stretch of the Lagan appears to have went off the boil from the temperatures drop with reports that a trout per run/pool is as good as it gets at present, although the size of fish can sometimes make up for this as Andrew Sloan showed on Sunday with two fine trout of 1.5lb and 2lb.  The temperatures haven’t affected the fish in the Dromore stretch as it continues to produce plenty of trout to mainly nymphs with odd pockets of fish lifting olive duns in selected areas.  As temperatures increase towards the weekend things should really liven up on all stretches.
