David from Arklow’s East Coast Fishing Blog targets Trout this week and tells us:
We planned this trip a week ago, but the weather has failed. There was a very wet week and I knew all the rivers were at the spring flood levels. With the river state like this, fish are constantly moving and hard to locate, but not for us- years of experience in lure fishing always pay off in the moments like this! 🙂
On the first trip this week, we targeted trout on the light gear.
Nothing big, wee fish only- in non-stop action Dawid and I landed 8 white trout and one little brownie.
