The Coarse Angling Competition in Templemore last Sunday threw up some great sport for all involved. The winners of each section were as follows:

Senior Section

  • First  – Francis Cummins with an amazing 292 rudd, the big ones did not want to play so Francis decided to target the little ones, and it paid off.
  • Second  – Pat Deegan with some lovely fish with a cracking rudd/hybrid of 2 1/2 pounds.

Junior Section

  • First  – Ned Kinnane
  • Second – Jamie O’Meara
  • Third – Siobhán Green
