Bream are now making their presence felt at Templemore town lake. Angling enthusiasts Michael and Chris Cummins weren’t left disappointed on Saturday when Michael landed three cracking bream along with 29 tench and a handful of rudd. Brother Chris got in on the action too with 30 tench and a few rudd thrown in for good measure!
Nigel Butler had a superb day also with a fine bag of 41 tench weighing over 100lbs. Great fishing lads!
Brendan Sage reminds us “WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY FISH BEEN REMOVED/HARMED, we will PROSECUTE any one willfully harming ANY fish on our water, there are signs around the lake stating where you can purchase permits / licenses from and even a phone number to contact the committee about a licence, we want everyone who comes to fish our lake to stay and enjoy themselves but YOU MUST HAVE A LICENCE / PERMIT to fish our water.”
