Adrian Browne and staff from IFI held an Introduction to Coarse Angling/ Biosecurity Awarness Event at Oaklands Lake, New Ross, Co. Wexford on Saturday as part of Fisheries Awareness Week.

Adrian reports that it was a great success. Over 30 kids turned out despite unpleasant, blustery conditions. Most of those taking part were first timers, and though they were complete novices they all caught fish. Adrian gave thanks to  IFI for sponsorship of the event and to all the lads that helped out from the club.
